Summer Streets are now Open Streets
Bull City Summer Streets returns for 2011 four times and with a new name. Bull City Open Streets is the new name that reflects Durham’s streets being opened to physical activity and the year round aspect of the event. More information can be found at our new site - http://www.bullcityopenstreets.com/

Why did you change the name from Bull City Summer Streets to Bull City Open Streets?
The name was changed to better reflect this event as it will occur in months outside of summer time. We chose the name open streets to align with the Open Streets movement taking hold across the United States.

By closing streets to automobile traffic and opening them as public boulevards, Bull City Open Streets promotes health, community, environmental awareness, and downtown’s economic growth. Join us to move, groove, laugh and play!
